A word from Jon
This is hard.
Of course it’s hard to think.
People say really stupid things to hurting people. They usually don’t mean it.
A minute at a time may be all you can do.
You don't have to know every answer right now.
You don’t need to be strong for anyone.
We can feel happy for our loved one AND sad for ourselves.
You get to be the center of your universe at the moment.
This is not your fault.
God’s not mad at you, even if you are mad at God.
You don't have to move on.
When will the stages come? Why do I feel waves of sadness?
Remember the best time, not the last time.
I thought parents were supposed to go first.
Not everyone who dies is a nice person.
What's the last best memory you have?
What has surprised you the most about this time of grief?
What do you want to say to the person you are grieving?
What are the words and acts from people that helped the most?
What do you want to remember a year from now?
What do you want to never forget?
What will you never say to someone going through this?
What are the hopes and dreams that you want to keep going?
What are the hopes and dreams that you are releasing?
